Fabulous Restored Pair of Vintage Italian Ceramic Ginger Jar Lamps
About the Item
A stellar pair of vintage ceramic ginger jar lamps, circa 1970. Raised horse motif adds lovely texture. Exceptional design, color and craftsmanship - just looking at them will bring a smile to your face. Exquisite jewelry! Excellent restored condition. Rewired using new clear cord, new brass three-way sockets with brass turn switch. Complete with new linen shades (size: 15 inches x 18 inches x 12 inches high ) and solid brass finials. Custom two-step base comprised of solid brass. Brass components with wonderful patina. Original label (destroyed during restoration) read: Made in Italy. Width and depth noted are per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair.

20th c., classic white porcelain ginger jars with white floral decoration, mounted as lamps, on pierced hardwood stands, unmarked. The scale of these lamps is impressive without being overscaled. They are not being sold with shades as the choice of shade is a personal one but I did try them with silk pleated kelly green and they were stunning.
