OUTSTANDING SIGNED GAMBONE FANTONI POTTERY LAMP WITH HORSE AND RIDER. THE POTTERY IS GORGEOUS!!-THIS IS THE FIRST PIECE OF FANTONI THAT I HAVE HAD SO THESE PIECES MUST BE VERY RARE!! THE TECHNIQUE IS WONDERFUL-THE BACKGROUND IS A MATT FINISH THAT LOOKS SOMEWHAT LIKE TREE BARK. THE IMAGE HAS AN AMAZING ARRAY OF COLORS AND IS VERY DETAILED-MUST HAVE BEEN DONE BY A MASTER!! THE ARTWORK HAS A PICCASO LIKE APPEARANCE. THERE ARE A FEW SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES ON THE IMAGE-SEE PHOTOS-PLEASE CONSIDER THE PHOTOS AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. THERE ARE ALSO A FEW SCUFFS TO THE BARK LIKE BACKGROUND-THEY ARE NOT DISTACTING. ON THE TOP RIM THERE IS A VERY SMALL DING-SEE PHOTOS. THIS LAMP HAS NOT BEEN TESTED A BECAUSE I CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT IT NEEDS TO BE REWIRED WHICH IS NO BIG DEAL IF YOU HAVE EVER REWIRED A LAMP-ONE WIRE-2 SCREWS-A PLUG AND YOUR DONE! NO NEED FOR A PROFESSIONAL. THE TOP PIECE OF BRASS HARDWARE THAT HOLDS THE LAMP SHADE IS MISSING-I AM SURE THAT IS AN EASY FIX. ALL IN ALL WITH THE FEW MINOR FLAWS THIS IS POSSIBLY THE FINEST PIECE OF POTTERY LAMP I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO OWN-A TRUE WORK OF ART. IT'S LIKE OWNING A SMALL PICASSO ON A LAMP-WOW!!
