An elegant foliage faux bamboo tripod table lamp with iron wire cylinder lampshade, Gilt Iron, France, 1940s.
This beautiful Maison Baguès inspired faux bamboo table lamp features a bouquet of leaves on the base tied by a twisted iron rope. The tripod base holds a cylinder shaped metal wire lampshade.
The leaves surrounding the stem are a highly decorative detail.
This table lamp will be a nice Hollywood Regency addition wherever you place it.
Showing its original gold leaf gilding and a terrific patina.
