French Yellow Bollard Lamp by Jean Balladur, 1969

About the Item

This rare lighting bollard, known as the Blind Bollard (BB), was designed by renowned French architect Jean Balladur in 1969. Crafted from lacquered folded steel, its oblong structure encases a glass diffuser and rests on a square base. The pale yellow finish has withstood the test of time, adding character and reflecting its rich history. Good vintage condition, with a natural patina and scuffs throughout. This lamp has been professionally rewired for U.S. use by our team of restorationists and includes a foot switch. Accepts one standard base light bulb.
