About the Item

A monumental 19-inch ceramic table lamp with a geometric yellow and white design. This impressive lamp is signed "Gambone, Italy". Guido Gambone (1909 to 1969) was known for expressive graphic designs and was one of the most prominent Italian ceramists of the 20th century. He also participated in the 25th Venice Biennale and had many works on view internationally. His work is highly sought after and collected. The lampshade is not included. The original lampshade is available as seen in images for an additional cost. This lamp would look great in any Mid-Century Modern or Contemporary interior. Labeled Gamboni, Italy, with marking, as shown in the images. The travertine table is available in another listing.
