Italian Orsa Minore Table Lamp, 1970s
About the Item
Orsa Minore table lamp made in Italy in the 1970s, possibly by Stilux.
The lamp has an ivory metal shade in which a pattern of perforated small holes playfully form the Little Bear constellation. Directly below the shade sits a half-sphere of opal glass, which is held in place by a metal base and a chrome ring.
By pressing the top of the lamp, the light is switched on or off. The amount of light can be easily adjusted by changing the position of the shade.
