About the Item
A rare modernist table lamp by Finnish producer, Itsu. The base features molded and bent brass wrapped in natural leather. The adjustable screen in anodized aluminum.
Very similar model illustrated in the manufacturer's catalog. The blue galvanized aluminum is a rare but recurring feature in Itsu production, featured on several works such as light pendants.
Other notable lighting designers of the 20th century include Paavo Tynell, Alvar Aalto, Lisa Johansson-Pape, Angelo Lelii, Max Ingrand, and Gino Sarfatti.
