Large mushroom table lamp by Hans Agne Jakobsson model BN26, Sweden 1960s
About the Item
Large dark orange mushroom table lamp by Hans Agne Jakobsson model BN26, Sweden 1960s for Markaryd. Hans Age Jakobsson designed two variations in this model, the smaller version, the BN 25 with three rings and this larger version with 4 rings. The lamp is in great condition considering its age, there are two small smudges on the top and there is a very tiny ding on one of the rings but hardly noticeable, please see all pics. The lamp is fitted for a general E27 lightbulb.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
