Elegant and vibrant, this Mid-Century Modern table lamp by Kosta Glasbruk showcases a stunning deep purple hue, crafted from full crystal glass. Handmade in Sweden during the 1960s, this exquisite piece embodies the artistry and precision of Scandinavian glassmaking.
The base is hand-signed on the bottom: "Kosta Helkristall underfång BA25", which translates to "Kosta Full Crystal Overlay BA25", indicating the lamp's exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Sticker on the lower part of the base: "Kosta Sweden". Another sticker on the lamp fixture: "Kosta Sweden".
With its sculptural presence and rich color, this lamp brings a sophisticated and artistic touch to any interior.

Kosta Boda, formerly Kosta Glasbruk, is a renowned Swedish glass manufacturer specializing in art glass and tableware. Founded in 1742 by military officers Anders Koskull and Georg Bogislaus Staël von Holstein, its name combines their surnames. Located in Kosta, Sweden, the company remains active today as part of Orrefors Kosta Boda under the New Wave Group.
Throughout its history, Kosta Boda has collaborated with iconic designers like Vicke Lindstrand, Bertil Vallien, and Ulrica Hydman Vallien. Its works are featured in prestigious museums worldwide. Since 2008, Kosta Boda has crafted the Eurovision Song Contest trophy and, since 2023, the Women's Handball World Championship trophy. The Kosta region, known as the "Kingdom of Crystal," attracts millions of visitors annually.
