A stunning vintage Murano glass mushroom lamp in a rare honey caramel brown hue, crafted using the signature swirl technique. The warm gradient effect gives the glass an ombré-like depth, enhancing its rich, inviting glow when illuminated.
Handblown in Murano, Italy, this lamp is a beautiful example of the masterful artistry for which Murano glassmakers are renowned. Originally produced in the 1970s, these iconic ‘fungo’ mushroom lamps became a hallmark of mid-century modern design. Their seamless, sculptural form was achieved through meticulous glassblowing techniques, resulting in a smooth, organic silhouette.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with natural variations such as tiny air bubbles, which are characteristic of handcrafted Murano glass. It has been rewired for North American use, ensuring it is ready to bring warmth and character to any space.
