A stunning vintage Murano glass mushroom lamp in a rare honey caramel brown hue, crafted using the signature swirl technique. The warm gradient effect gives the glass an ombré-like depth, enhancing its rich, inviting glow when illuminated. Handblown in Murano, Italy, this lamp is a beautiful example of the masterful artistry for which Murano glassmakers are renowned. Originally produced in the 1970s, these iconic ‘fungo’ mushroom lamps became a hallmark of mid-century modern design. Their seamless, sculptural form was achieved through meticulous glassblowing techniques, resulting in a smooth, organic silhouette. This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with natural variations such as tiny air bubbles, which are characteristic of handcrafted Murano glass.
