About the Item

This delightful Mid-Century Modernist Cobalt Blue Glazed Ceramic Table Lamp by Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund originates from Denmark, Circa 1960. This lamp features a round body with a gorgeous deep ultramarine hued glaze. The shade is composed of beautiful white cotton twine in horizontal bands, with a round spherical finial. Beautifully scaled, this lamp is an excellent example of the materials and design motifs of Mid-Century Modernism, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and in Excellent Vintage Condition. Accommodates one Edison Based Bulb offering 100 watts of light. Denmark, circa 1960 Dimensions: Height: 18.5" x Diameter: 9"
