Modernist Faceted Handblown Murano Topaz Glass Table Lamps

About the Item

This stunning pair of table lamps were handblown in Murano, Italy- the islands off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for their superlative glass production. They feature faceted bodies realized in handblown translucent Murano glass in a rich topaz hue, suggesting exquisite gemstones. Their sculptural silhouettes- offering a wealth of interesting geometries- offers a striking counterpoint to the subtly tapered custom conical shades perched on top of them. With their clean lines and impeccable artisanal construction, these lamps would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. The lamps come fitted with custom slender drum shades in off-white, Italy, 21st century Dimensions: 6.5" W x 6.5" D x 24.5" H (lamp) 27.75" height x 9.25" diameter (shade).
