Pair French Louis XVI bronze lamps. Pair baluster form Louis XVI style gilt metal oil lamps with engine turned finish, neoclassical collar at base of former oil reservoir now converted to electric; laurel leaf swagged and beribboned handles with further laurel banded decoration above squared and incurved corner base. Newly rewired with two light stem and black twisted silk cord with switch. Stamped Gagneau, from the famed manufacturers at 115 Rue Lafayette in Paris France late 19th century.
