About the Item

China, circa 1890 A pair of late nineteenth century black and gold tea canisters, with calligraphic cartouches to the fronts, one marked 10 and the other 11. Now converted as lamps. Height of canister 42.00cm Height with shade 71.00cm Diameter of base 23.00cm Please note: Lampshade not included. Lamp photographed with a 18” diameter pale cream card Pembroke lampshade. Currently wired for the UK with patinated brass BC bulb fitting, with bronze twisted silk flex and black torpedo switch, with 13amp plug. PAT tested. Please enquire for rewiring services.
