Pair of 19th Century French Porcelain Brass and Painted Glass Table Lamps

About the Item

These elegant antique oil lamps made into table lights were crafted in France, circa 1880. The tall "Lampes a Petrole", stand on intricate round brass bases decorated with leaf motifs. Each colorful porcelain stem features hand painted floral and foliage decor in the pink and green palette on black background. The light fixtures are further embellished with the original art glass oil containers decorated with hand painted foliage motifs and brass mounts. Both Napoleon III pieces are in excellent condition with new wiring and dressed with circular beige shades. Place these oil lamps on your dining room server or use them as bedside table lamps. Shades included. Measures: 6" diameter 31" height.
