About the Item
Unique Postmodern pair of Dutch lamps by Rob Wermenbol, from 1980s. These pieces were made during the 1980s in Holland by Indoor. This pair of table lamps also have the possibility of hanging on the wall as wall sconces.
The name of the manufacturer "indoor" and the model "delamp" are stamped on the base of each table lamp.
This desk/table lamp is Rob Wermenbol’s most famous lamp. Wermenbol studied at the international university of applied sciences for Fine Arts and Design, the Gerrit Rietveld Academy from 1974 until 1979. He worked for Indoor from 1979 until 1989. He was responsible for design, engineering, production/organization of a collection of light fixtures in metal and plastic. Today he is active in the 3D printing business.
The manufacturer Indoor B.V. was at least active since the beginning of the 1960s. Mister Cohen was the president. They had their offices and expedition at the Sloterkade street and a shop at the famous Paulus Potterstraat 22-24 in Amsterdam in front of the Van Gogh museum.
Each piece is equipped with a Fluorescence bulb (bulb G23, 1 x 11 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.)
