About the Item
A wonderful pair French 19th century neo-cassical ormolu and patinated bronze lamps. Each lamp is raised on a square ormolu base with a reeded patinated bronze column. Above ormolu urn shaped elements have finely chased acanthus leaves at the top and bottom. At each side is a scrolled patinated handle and patinated wreath with a central lyre decorate the front and back. All original patina and gilt throughout.
