pair of French 19th century Neo-Greek st. Giltwood, Bronze and Ormolu lamps

About the Item

A very elegant and finely detailed pair of French 19th century Neo-Greek st. ebonized Fruitwood, Giltwood, patinated Bronze, and Ormolu lamps. Each stunning lamp is raised by three panthers with paw feet and each separated by wonderful pierced Ormolu palmette pendants with acorn accents. Each lamp is supported atop a triangular base with mottled edges and concave sides. Above the three supporting Panther legs is the tapering fluted designed body with a wrap around acanthus leaf base. The mottled Ormolu fut extends upwards towards the elongated Ormolu diamond top finial.
