About the Item
A sensational and most elegant pair of French late 19th century Louis XVI st. Rock Crystal and Ormolu lamps. Each stunning spiral reeded Rock Crystal lamp is raised on a dome shaped base above an Ormolu base plate. Above the dome shaped socle is the baluster shaped Rock Crystal body with the same spiral reeded design. The baluster shaped body is separated by fine protective Ormolu discs. At the top is the Rock Crystal saucer designed with various cuts and a scalloped design. All in excellent condition throughout.
