About the Item
Pair of Italian Murano "Pulegoso" (bubbled) glass lamps in a rich and elegant bronze and gold color. Each of the five glass spheres is separated by glass rings with 24-karat gold flecks and sit atop a solid square bronze glass block. An absolute work of art, signed by the glass master himself, Alberto Dona. The height of the glass base with the socket is 23 inches. These lamps have been rewired for the US market. These lamps will come with a uno adapter that will enable to put a harp and lampshade on it.

Alberto Donà
Alberto Donà, born in Italy in 1944, began working in the glass field at the age of 13 and became known for his ability with colors and creativity in generating unique combinations, hence his valued collaborations with important companies such as Venini, Saporiti that have relied on Donà for glass accessories. In October 2001, he had a one-man show at the Vassel Art Gallery in London. He was selected to furnish the lighting for the Hiroshima Memorial Museum.
