About the Item

An elegant pair of lamps crafted from two Chinese vases in "oxblood" (lang yao hong) glazed porcelain, with the rich, deep red hue characteristic of this famous monochrome glaze. These vases, dating from the early 20th century, were mounted as lamps with black lacquered wooden bases and custom-made shades, finished with a red border. The combination of understated form and depth of color makes them spectacular decorative pieces. Overall dimensions: height 82 cm – diameter 43 cm Height of vases alone: 37 cm Very well preserved. Ideal for a refined interior blending Asian art and classic design.
