Pair of Lucite Table Lamps in the Manner of Charles Hollis Jones, 1960s

About the Item

A pair of chic 1960s lucite table lamps on black metal bases done in the manner of Charles Hollis Jones. Sculptural trio of lucite rods of graduated height and diameter on acrylic-capped matte black enameled cast aluminum base. Polished nickel stem supports original socket. In addition to pieces by Charles Hollis Jones, would also accessorize well with lucite furniture and decor by fellow mid-century designers Karl Springer and Dorothy Thorpe.

    Wear consistent with age and use. In very good vintage condition. Lucite great overall, with only issues being slight lean of short rod and very faint haziness of middle rod of lamp at left. Some tiny marks to black bases and a couple fleabites on acrylic discs. Harp/finial show age.
