DESCRIPTION: An elegant and radical faux-pair (asymmetrical) of table lamps, Kinetic, Op-Art, Post-Modernist, Space-Age, hexagonal structure composed of a geometric accumulation of openwork cubes in nickel-plated bronze, each lamp being different size on the same basis, to be assigned, France 1970.
The openwork bronze cubes are made from 2 mm thick bronze sections.
SOLD WITH OR WITHOUT LAMPSHADES.
A SALE WITHOUT LAMPSHADES MAY REDUCE THE SHIPPING COSTS SIGNIFICANTLY.
DIMENSIONS:
Large lamp: 63 x 40 cm with lampshade and 39 x 10 x 10 cm base only.
Of the small lamp: 47 x 35 cm with lampshade and 32 x 10 x 10 cm base only.
CONDITION: In beautiful original condition.
Wear, scratches, marks, patina of use on all white lacquered surfaces.
Under the base, wear of the nickel plating reveals the bronze of the structure.
