About the Item
Pair of Pulegoso Murano Glass Table Lamps with 24-carat gold, 1990s, Italy.
This refined pair of Italian table lamps is a unique and precious piece of art.
At its base, a white semi-spheric glass element sustains the lamp stem, made of two smaller spheres with sunken gold and two larger white spheres. The glassmaking technique incorporated countless air bubbles inside the glass surface, and is called “pulegoso” technique. On top of each lamp there is one light.
The height is 25.8” without the lampshade. The red lampshades are included.
The two lamps are in excellent conditions, as documented in the pictures. The professional rewiring of the table lamps is offered as a courtesy by Vintage Murano Gallery.
