A striking pair of vintage table lamps in the style of Karl Springer, combining sculptural form with rich surface texture and modernist refinement. Each lamp features a bulbous gourd-shaped body, hand-finished in layered polychromed lacquer with a distinctive crackled glaze effect in pale parchment tones and subtle green undertones. The surface evokes the aged beauty of parchment or lacquered shagreen—materials famously favored by Springer.
The forms are elevated on thick Lucite disc bases, adding clarity and lightness to the organic silhouette, while brushed aluminum risers and vintage brass sockets complete the look with a refined industrial touch.
