Rare Maison Charles Paris Gilded Metal and Crystal Table Lamp, circa 1960
About the Item
Maison Charles Paris designed this stunning tall table lamp. The rare piece was crafted in France circa 1960. A large black enameled square column with inlaid gilded brass details elevates the entire lighting piece. The lamp is embellished with a rounded brass bowl holding crystal fruits with brass stems and leaves. There is no visible designer's mark. This lamp has its original black shade.
Measurements: 6.69 in wide (17 cm) x 6.69 in deep (17cm) x 25.19 in high (65 cm).
The height is given without harp, finial, or shade.
A stunning similar lamp in a different size is pictured in AD Collector—French Special Edition—2014 (check the last two pictures). Famous interior designer Ryan Korban used these exceptional Maison Charles lamps to decorate a luxury New York apartment.
