About the Item
A Rare and beautiful Midcentury Desklight Tablelamp from HALA,Hannoversche Lampenfabrik, Germany.
Designed in the early 1950s this very elegant and slightly eccentric Tablelamp was maybe one of a kind in the modern development of the post-war German Lamp industry.
Some influence of Italian fifties-stilnovo designs is maybe also seen in this design.
The Designer is unknown, but some vintage-lamp-expert-sources told us the design is probably by Ernest Igl.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. The electric wiring is old and original ,it works but we recommend to ask an electrician before using. the brass parts are nicely patinated. the plastic coated grip is stabile and in good condition. there is only a mini lack of paint at the shade.
