Regina Delft Blue Table Lamp (1935-1979) with New Scarlet Red Velvet Shade
About the Item
Exquisitely handcrafted by Amitābha Studio in Amsterdam, Wilhelmina is a one-of-a-kind table lamp made from a rare, hand-painted vintage Regina Delft Blue vase. This stunning piece is named in homage to Queen Wilhelmina, reflecting both its regal origins and the artistry of Dutch ceramics. The vase was created by Regina (Kunstaardewerkfabriek Regina), a renowned Gouda pottery factory established in 1898 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Wilhelmina. Known for its exquisite craftsmanship, Regina shifted from producing earthenware pipes to high-quality art pottery, marking each piece with a crown and the initials “WB” for its founders, Gerrit Frederik van der Want and Georges Antoine Alexis Barras.
Paired with a luxurious scarlet red velvet lampshade, handmade in an atelier near Amsterdam, and a matching red cord, this lamp blends historical elegance with contemporary design. The lamp was created without harming the original vase in any way.
Please note, the lamp is fully wired for use in the U.S. Additionally, the listed height includes the lampshade. We also ensure compatibility for global use by offering a free plug customization service to match the electrical standards of your specific country. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
