About the Item

Lovingly handcrafted by Amitābha Studio in Amsterdam, Mark is a one-of-a-kind table lamp inspired by the iconic American interior designer Mark D. Sikes, celebrated for his blue and white palettes. This unique lamp features a vintage Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) Blue (Delfts Blauw) vase, expertly paired with a custom contemporary white satin lampshade adorned with a striking cobalt blue trim. The lamp was created without harming the original vase in any way. The base of the lamp, a beautifully round vase, was handmade and exquisitely hand-painted with a floral motif by Royal Delft master artisan M.H. van Aalst. To attest to its authenticity, it bears the Royal Delft year marking 'CT' from 1974 on its underside, along with the painter's initials ‘MA’. This exquisite piece is not only a functional light source but also a work of art that adds a touch of sophistication and elegance to any interior. It stands as a testament to the timeless beauty and craftsmanship of Royal Delft pottery. Please note, the lamp is fully wired for use in the U.S. Additionally, the listed height includes the lampshade. We also ensure compatibility for global use by offering a free plug customization service to match the electrical standards of your specific country. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
