About the Item

Meticulously handcrafted by Amitābha Studio in Amsterdam from a vintage Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) Delvert vase, Juno is a sweet one-of-a-kind table lamp. The Delvert line, named by fusing the French word for green (vert) with the city of Delft, was an innovative creation by Dutch painter Herman Sanders. Characterized by its rare blue-green hue and hand-painted designs sealed with a milky glaze, the Delvert series was produced only from 1968 to 1976 due to the challenges in maintaining its distinctive color during firing. The lamp was created without harming the original vase in any way. Named after the goddess Juno, associated with the peacock, this lamp is a rare and exquisite find. It is paired with an ovoid-shaped new contemporary lampshade crafted from Liberty of London’s Hera Plume fabric in Slipper Pink. This Italian-woven, piece-dyed jacquard weave fabric blends fine detail and rich color effects, making it a striking counterpart to the rare Delvert vase. We also ensure compatibility for global use by offering a free plug customization service to match the electrical standards of your specific country. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us!
