Sibari Table Lamp by Toni Cordero for Artemide

About the Item

Stylish Artemide Sibari table lamp by Toni Cordero, 1990. The Sibari lamp by Italian designer Toni Cordero (1937-2001) belongs to the series of the Milano Torino light sculptures such as the Ecate or the Anchise produced in small numbers in 1990. The methacrylate shade on top of the chromed metal stem is surrounded by small multi-color Murano glass plates which reflect the light. The fusion bronzed base bears the metal label. Measurements: H 92 x D 42cm. This lamp will be shipped overseas in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of insured shipping to the US, custom made wooden crate included is Euro 475.

    Unusual, extraordinary and exciting floor lamp by Toni Cordero. Very interesting combination of different materials. Toni Cordero was born in Lanzo Torinese in 1937. He took his architecture degree in Turin, and in 1962 opened his first design office. His architectural work includes Turin’s ”Delle Alpi” stadium with the collaboration of Hutter, Ossola and Majowiecki, a building based on advanced timber technology in Turin’s Mandria Park in 1997 and the Staff International factory in Noventa-Vicenza in 1996.
