Shimmering pair of handblown Murano "Pulegoso" glass globe table lamps. It's hard to capture the real beauty of these lamps in a photograph! Clear Pulegoso glass was layered over a silver leafed glass globe to create this amazing shimmering effect. Rewired for the US with a three-way switch.
Pulegoso: This technique was characterized by innumerable bubbles ("puleghe") contained in the glass, obtained by chemical reaction during the heating process.
