About the Item
An exquisite pair of vintage brass sphere lamps, circa 1960. Hand-forged and etched brass form with fabulous scale and detail. Custom carved mahogany base finished in black lacquer. The pieces display slightly different embossed patterns. The original etched brass ball switch pulls now serve as neck decoration. Painstakingly crafted pieces of stellar quality. Stunning jewelry! Excellent restored condition. Rewired using clear cord; new brass three-way sockets with brass turn switch. Complete with new silk shades (color: Sand Silk; size: 17 x 18 x 12 inches high) and custom-made carved stone medallion finials. The lamps are approximately 15 inches in diameter at the widest point. Diameter noted is per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair.
