A charming pair of "Birillo" table lamps, crafted in Murano, Venice around the turn of the century. These are stunning examples of Italian glass artistry blended with sleek chrome accents and retro-inspired colours. Their compact size makes them perfect as side lamps or bedside lamps, adding a touch of vintage sophistication to any space.
Each lamp features a bright orange Murano glass base paired with a milky white glass top, which emits a warm, ambient glow. A three-setting switch provides versatile lighting options: illuminate just the top, just the base, or both together to create the perfect atmosphere. Adding to their unique appeal, the lamps can be flipped, allowing the top to become the base and vice versa, offering a playful and customisable look.
Originally designed in the 1970s, the Birillo lamp became an iconic piece in Italian lighting, celebrated for its sculptural form and vibrant colours.
