Vintage Italian Chrome Concentric Circle Armillary Table Lamp or Wall Sconce
About the Item
Vintage Italian table lamp / sconce / flush-mount composed of four layers of chrome rings / concentric circles which can fan out to create an armillary sphere reminiscent of various "Moon Lamps" by a number of designers including Henri Mathieu and Verner Panton.
Inventive, high design piece marrying both form and function - the adjustability of the rings allows the direction and level of light distribution to be controlled while remaining aesthetically pleasing/stylish in any configuration.
Few light scuffs to a couple of the chrome bands, as shown, along with tarnish/general wear to the base and socket.
Overall, very good, vintage condition.
Original Italian socket, wiring, and plug (plug will be changed for US use, unless otherwise requested).
