Italian Mid-19th Century Painted & Giltwood Bed Corona / Bed Crown, Large-Size

About the Item

An Italian mid-19th century painted and giltwood bed corona (bed crown). This Italian bed corona has a nicely carved pattern wrapping around its front, reminiscent of a regal crown, over a grey beige painted background. Its backside is flat, in order to be placed flush against a wall. This large-scale bed crown has a nice patina and wear throughout. It hangs with six gold color ropes connected to an o-ring at top. This piece could be hung above a bed to enrich decoration in a bedroom.
