Antique Empire maple and brass bed.
This bed, which has already survived almost two centuries, is in excellent condition: solid and sound, the inlaid illustrations are of exceptional quality.
About the dimension of the matress please see the annotated photo. A custom-made bedding will be the best choice.
The theme of Greek antiquity was revived throughout the 19th century. Here, among others, a vestal virgin and horns of plenty, executed with great finesse.
Very good antique condition with signs of use.
