About the Item

Introducing a stunning French corbeille bed, perfect for adding a touch of antique charm to your bedroom. This beautiful bed features a curved shape footboard and is crafted from walnut material, ensuring both durability and style. The bed comes with a headboard that stands at 121cm tall and a footboard that stands at 75cm tall, the bed is compatible with UK king-sized mattresses. The bed is an original piece and was manufactured in France during the 1920-1949 time period. The bed has pretty carvings and has a waxed finish that adds to its overall appeal. The Fabric is of a blue green tufted satin, this is a fabulous colour is very on trend with todays interior fashion. It requires assembly and will require a slat bed base. these can be purchased online or a divan base can be use inside the frame. The external bed measurements to the widest point are 160 cm x 205cm. Internal mattress size 150 x 200cm. Condition Report The fabric is original and has some minor marks and fading, would benefit from a professional clean or refinish.
