Antique Italian Neoclassical Painted QUEEN Bed is a splendid expression of the classical style that dates back three thousand years! This example, with rectilinear headboard, rails and centermost portion of the footboard, is softened into the room with the introduction of radiused curves a the lower portion of the footboard's sides to connect to the rails. Beautifully carved molded detail appears in abundance across the entire framework, including spiral ribbon, egg and tongue & dart, with a particularly resplendent vine relief across the top of the headboard that is amazingly intricate.
