Baldaquin -/ large four-poster bed in carved gilded wood: the 4 feet/posts are carved with foliage and flowers The headboard, as well as the 4 sides of the canopy are decorated with shells Good general condition, some lacks and wear to the gilding; some traces of treated woodworms Late 19th century period bed, with older elements Total dimensions of the bed: H 262cm 175 x 223 cm Height of the headboard 156 cm Height of the footboard 76 cm Dimensions of the frame to place a bed base: 155 x 210 cm Dimensions of the mattress: 161 x 201 cm (The dimensions for the bed base are smaller than those of the mattress, because there is 1 wooden edge on the sides, see photos) Bed delivered completely disassembled; for easy reassembly, the different elements are numbered The bed is assembled with lag screws and bolts for the upper part
