Vintage David T Smith early American style four post queen bed frame. Made of curly maple featuring traditional form with tapered and chamfered posts and high rails. Signed in 1995 by its only owner Douglas Almoney of Dayton Ohio.
David T Smith operated out of Morrow, Ohio and opened shop during the middle of the 20th century. An original Craftsman for Reproduction Museum Quality 18th & 19th Century Furniture. David was very popular amongst collectors in the Midwest for his period construction and techniques.
