About the Item

A long rectangular modernist style daybed with tall shaped wood sides with black laminate panels below. The lower wood frame raised on square shaped legs. A fine quality upholstered seat cushion and a pair of bolsters in a pale fabric. The classic Lehrecke daybed was designed in 1996 at a time when his influences were a combination of Scandinavian and African, resulting in a primitive, yet highly refined, look. This version is made from solid walnut, with a clear matte finish. The headboard side supports are aluminum with a black powder coat finish. The two bolster pillows (feather foam) and seat cushion (foam with a dacron wrap) have removable slipcovers. Dimensions: 78" Long x 31" Deep x 25 1/2" High ends x 22" High seat with cushion Condition: Please review details in the photos. There are chips and some finish loss on all sides of the lower frame, faded one long and one short side and some level of restoration may be desirable however the Day Bed retains an incredible and stylish presentation.
