Exceptional Florentine Painted And Caned Queen Bed for Restoration
About the Item
Desirable Queen Bed with double-wall caned headboard and footboard in a fine custom Gray painted finish. The frame profusely carved with flowers and many other fine details. The caning on both headboard and footboard is also Gray however there is a subtle light X pattern overpainted creating lively movement. Nicely carved Ball finials at headboard and footboard surmounting profusely carved column supports, drop in wood mattress supports and decoratively carved side rails add very fine finishing touches to this magnificent bed frame. Restoration recommended. THE BOXSPRING AND MATTRESS ARE NOT INCLUDED AND SHOWN FOR PHOTOGRAPHY PURPOSES.
Dimensions: 54.25” high by 64.5” wide by 85” deep.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Restoration Recommended. While the bed frame is intentionally distressed, the headboard caning is broken and separated from the frame on the left side facing and should be professionally repaired, otherwise expected sporadic finish losses which do not detract from the fine Florentine presentation.
