About the Item

French late 19th century faux bamboo pine bed, reflecting the Aesthetic Movement artistry for organic forms in stylized, decorative ways. Pine planks on the flat surfaces (inside and out) glow with an amber tone in the light, revealing their signature light grain patterns and knots grain in contrast to the dark ridges of the faux bamboo “nodes” on the turned pine trim projecting ringed finials on the corners of the head and footboards . Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique bed is ready to inspire in your interior. Please view the detailed images.
