French Patinated Wood Bed Full Size or Double Bed Louis XVI Style, circa 1900
About the Item
French mid-century bed made circa 1900, in the Louis XVI style.
The painting is the original but the bed has been patinated recently to refresh the finishing.
The upholtery is in good condition but the fabric has to be recovered.
Good antique condition, sound and solid.
Interior dimensions D 74.80 x W 54.92 in.
If you wish, we can ask our cabinet maker to change the bed into a queen size: it will lengthen the sides of the bed by 75 to 79 in. (190 to 203.20 cm) to allow a queen-size box spring to be fitted on the bed frame.
