A George III Mahogany & Painted Four-Post Tester Bed, ca. 1790

About the Item
The arched tester painted in an attractive muted palette decorated with garlands of flowers, musical instruments and greek key design. The central frieze decorated with a vignette of cherubs.
The mahogany frame with upholstered head and footboards flanked by fluted octagonal footposts with laurel leaf carving and plain headposts, all raised on block feet.
