An Italian carved and gilt wall-mounted headboard, with upholstered center, from the early 20th century. This antique wall-plaque from Italy has a trapezium shaped hand carved wood frame, outlined in beautiful c-scrolls, leaves, and a single flower adorning its top center. The wood retains its original gilt and turquoise/cream finish. The interior of the plaque is fabric, which is ready for a refresher; the perfect opportunity to make this work with your bedroom décor. This early 20th century Italian wall-mounted plaque, with its original hand painted and giltwood finish, measures approximately 76.75 inches in width, making it best suitable as a headboard for a California-King or King Size mattress (could potentially work for a Queen with fuller bedding, and frame). .
