Italian Gilt Bed in Period Red Walnut
About the Item
A rarely found red Italian walnut gilded double bed, the piece was made by the highest quality cabinet maker of the time, hence it survives so well today, the beautifully drawn Italian design is set with its hand cut rococo gilt molded swept in panels with detailed motifs and delicate leaf carving, the upholstered headboard fabric can be removed and reupholstered to client fabric choice.
