Marzio Cecchi spring bed edition Studio Most Italy 1974
About the Item
Presenting a super rare and iconic spring bed, a visionary creation by architect and designer Marzio Cecchi for Studio Most, Italy, crafted in 1974. This extraordinary piece is far more than just a bed; it is a striking work of art that stands out with its unique design and bold aesthetic. Constructed from very thick, black-coated metal tubes bent into a form reminiscent of a boxing ring, this bed is extreme in every way and commands attention from every angle.
The oversized springs, robust tubing, and unusual curves combine to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece that is as functional as it is visually captivating. Whether used as a bed or a daybed, it offers a perfect blend of comfort and avant-garde design. The bed is in excellent condition, with a recently replaced mattress bottom to ensure modern comfort without compromising its original character. The mattress size this bed needs is 190 x 160 cm. Kindly note that the mattress and covering is not included in this listing, it is for visual references only.
