About the Item
A matching pair of antique iron single beds from the late Victorian era, circa 1880, finished in black with straight brass top rails and round knobs.
These beds accept standard UK single size 3'0" wide by 6'3" long bases and mattresses, but they can also accept US twin size 39" wide bases and mattresses. There is also an option to lengthen the beds so they accept 6'6" (or even 80"), which are preferable for adults.
It is possible to join these two beds to form a 6'0 wide (UK Super King or Californian King) bed, and provide mattresses that zip together.
The price includes:
2 x single FIRM BASES (mattress bases) to support the mattresses.
The mattresses, bedding and linen are not included but are available.
